How to feel Younger !

There are many things that make us all feel older, not least of which is the current economic environment, the stress in our jobs (on SO many levels) and the person we share our lives with.

On the other hand, these can all make us feel younger, more carefree, less stressed etc etc.

THE most important, I think (in my humble opinion), is the person I share my life with now.

I am blessed and very lucky to have met her, and that not only do I love her, but that she loves me back just as much.

However, that is not the only reason - loving someone is not enough to make you feel happy and therefore feel younger and more alive, and counteract all of those other pressures and negative events that happen on a daily basis.

It is the feeling of truly sharing a life with someone who you feel IN love with, and feel passionate about and really fancy the pants off ! AND that feels the same about you as well (big cheesy grin at this point!!)

I am divorced, and happy to admit that this is the best thing that has happened to me in my personal life, although it didnt feel like it at the time. However, my (now) ex-wife did make one comment that stuck with me and was very perceptive.... she said that I loved her but was nmot IN love with her.

After a time, when I was able to view this conversationwith less emotion, I realised that she was right, and that this had been a problem with the relationship and meant that it had been a comfortable relationship.

But, it didn't have the passion and fire that my current relationship has, and that is such a huge difference.

The fates conspired to bring us together, and 5 years later, we are still together and engaged to be married.

I couldn't be happier

I totally feel younger because of her, and without her life would be greyer, and my hair would be greyer as well !

I think I will continue this theme for my next blog, as I feel very strongly about that it was fate (or some other force) that drew us together, and these things are very important to recognise and not ignore.

Life would be very different if either of us had ignored what we felt and what the fates were trying to tell us !
